At least 10 people have been killed after a high-speed train crashed into the back of another train in central Spain ... with authorities warning the death toll could rise.
The collision happened in Toledo province, on a route connecting Madrid with the southern city of Seville.
Both trains were traveling in the same direction when one struck the other, which had stopped.
The crash derailed two carriages and is disrupting train services between Madrid and southern Spain.
Emergency crews are working to rescue survivors and recover bodies.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
The trains were operated by state-owned Renfe and private company Iryo .... which were involved in a separate deadly collision in southern Spain in January, which killed 46 people.
