Yunlin Celebrates Opening of Beigang 1911 Cultural Park
Posted on 2026-10-26 14:12:13
The Yunlin County Government is celebrating the grand opening of the Beigang
1911 Warehouse Cultural Park today.

The site transforms historic Beigang Sugar Factory warehouses into a vibrant
cultural hub for local crafts and exhibitions.

Restoration began in 2021, with four warehouses currently completed and eight
additional structures scheduled for completion next year.

Three inaugural exhibitions opened Monday, highlighting lantern-making
traditions, cultural asset preservation, and creative local products.

The park plans to host biweekly markets, artisan workshops, and cultural
performances to encourage longer visitor stays in Beigang.
