Second round of income tax refunds due October 30

More than 1.4 billion N.T. in income tax refunds are scheduled for October 30.

The second round of refunds for the 2025 tax year covers nearly 83-thousand
cases, and about 96 percent will be paid directly into designated bank
accounts.

The Central Area taxation bureau says taxpayers who left out their bank
details have been sent direct-deposit consent forms.

Recipients should sign or stamp the forms and return them by the deadline
listed.

Without account details, refunds cannot be deposited directly.

A third round of refunds is scheduled for January 20 next year.
