CPBL Taiwan Series
Posted on 2026-10-22 08:26:13
Finally in sports news and last night's Chinese Professional Baseball League
Taiwan Series ...

.. where the C-T-B-C Brothers beat the Wei Chuan Dragons 5-4 in Game 4 at the
Taipei Dome and avoid a Taiwan Series sweep.

The result means the Brothers have cut the deficit to 3-1 in the
best-of-seven championship series.

Chan Tzu-hsien starred for the Brothers - after hitting a two-out, walk-off
single in the 11th inning.

Chan's first hit in five at-bats earned him the game's M-V-P award.

The Dragons can claim the championship if they win Friday's Game 5, while the
Brothers need to win all the remaining three games to become the first team
ever to win the Taiwan Series after trailing 3-0.

Game 5 begins at 6:30 Friday evening at the Taipei Dome.
