Taiwan agency, Korean producer agree to cooperate on film, TV development

The Taiwan Creative Content Agency is partnering with South Korea's B.A.
Entertainment to help bring more Taiwanese films and television productions
to international audiences.

TAI-C-C-A says the agreement will focus on talent development, financing,
co-productions and international distribution.

B.A. Entertainment is known for "The Roundup" film franchise and "The
Gangster, the Cop, the Devil."

The agreement was signed during the Busan International Film Festival, where
Taiwan also showcased more than 230 works at an industry market.

More than 100 Taiwanese companies took part in the event, while a reception
hosted by TAI-C-C-A attracted over 500 film industry professionals and
buyers.

A Taiwanese film project titled "Uncle" also won an award at the Asian
Project Market.
