And finally in last night's Chinese Professional Baseball League play-offs
....

.. the C-T-B-C Brothers booked their spot in the Taiwan Series after beating
the Uni-President Lions 8-2 in the deciding Game 4 at the Intercontinental
Stadium in Taichung.

A second-half season champions, the Brothers entered the play-offs with a one
game advantage.

It's the third consecutive year the Brothers have made the finals and they
will now meet the first half season champion Wei Chuan Dragons.

The best-of-seven Taiwan Series will begin on October 17 at the Taipei Dome,
where the Dragons will host Games 1 and 2 and, if necessary, Games 5 through
7.

Games 3 and 4 are scheduled for October 20 and 21, and will also be played at
Taipei Dome.

The Brothers last won the Taiwan Series in 2024, while the Dragons most
recent C-P-B-L title was in 2023.
