MOFA condemns China over sanctions on ministers of diplomatic allies

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is slamming China's decision to sanction two ministers from Taiwan's diplomatic allies.
This, after China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs described Belize's Foreign Minister Francis Fonseca and Paraguay's Minister of Information Gustavo Villate as "anti-China politicians" and barred them from entering China.
Beijing called the two officials "pawns" who have smeared Beijing... but did not say why the two ministers were singled out.
Taipei's foreign ministry describes Beijing's sanctions as "preposterous" and a "blatant interference in other countries' sovereignty and diplomacy."
It adds action is evidence of China's "futile attempt to deploy political intimidation and transnational repression to coerce other countries into submission to its political agenda."
The move is seen as symbolic, since ministers from Taiwan's diplomatic allies generally don't travel to China
