In international news...
Experts say, nearly 2 million Somali children either already are or are expected to suffer from acute malnutrition by June.
An analysis by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification also identifies 433,000 kids expected to suffer severe acute malnutrition...
putting them at highest risk of death.
Most of Somalia's expected malnutrition cases are concentrated in the south, where there are higher rates of disease outbreaks and food insecurity, as well as less access to health services.
This comes as humanitarian organizations have fewer resources to respond to such crises due to cuts to international humanitarian aid.
