Man arrested over aunt's death in Xinzhuang
Posted on 2026-10-12 17:07:13
Police have arrested a 33-year old man suspected of killing his aunt in New
Taipei's Xinzhuang District.

He was caught in Taoyuan District around noon today after officers used
surveillance footage to track his movements.

Police say the 59-year old woman was found dead with multiple knife wounds in
her kitchen on Yong'an Street.

Her husband discovered her body after returning from work yesterday evening
and called police.

Investigators say her nephew lived with her, had previously argued with her,
and could not be contacted after the incident.

Police are investigating the circumstances of her death.
