Eswatini's new ambassador to Taiwan says his country will continue advocating
for Taiwan's participation in international organizations.

He made the comments as he presented his credentials to President Lai
Ching-te.

Vulind-lela Sim-phiwe Ku-nene said global challenges cannot be effectively
addressed while "the knowledge, resources and experience of more than 23
million people were excluded."

Kunene said Eswatini would therefore continue to push for Taiwan's inclusion
in international organizations and mechanisms where its contribution can
benefit humanity.

The diplomat described that support "an expression of friendship" and "a
principled position grounded in fairness, inclusion and the practical
requirements of effective international cooperation."

For his part, the president said Taiwan will continue working with Eswatini
on projects including the Taiwan Industrial Innovation Park, even as it
expanded cooperation in agriculture, healthcare, education, trade and
technology.

Eswatini's King Mswati III's is expected to visit to Taiwan this week to
attend October 10 National Day events.
