MOA apologizes over app displaying Chinese National Day
Posted on 2026-10-02 17:24:13
The Minister of Agriculture has apologized after an app linked to the MOA was
found to show Chinese National Day on the in-app calendar.

Minister Chen Jun Ji says, the mistake was due to an error from the
developer, but that his ministry should have caught the issue before it went
live.

He added that the ministry updated the app last night, saying that the issue
would not happen again.

Chen says, the developer pre-loaded an external calender, failing to remove
both Chinese National Day and China's Military Day.
