Experts expect more and more tests of Haikun ahead of expect delivery

Experts say, the Haikun submarine is expected to undergo more and more sea
tests as the shipmakers prepare to hand off the domestically produced vessel.

The Haikun underwent its 23rd sea test today, and would appear to be nearing
delivery.

However, experts say that tactical verification will still be needed after
delivery and it will not immediately be combat ready.

Ji Dong Yun adds that the shipbuilder and manufacturer aim to complete the
delivery by the end of the year.

He emphasizes, though, that the public should not expect to see the sub in
combat scenarios for another 6 months to even a year after hand off.
