Three former military personnel have been indicted for allegedly collecting military secrets for China.
The Taiwan High Prosecutors Office's Kaohsiung Branch says the three men allegedly began working with Chinese intelligence officials in 2020.
Prosecutors say they obtained confidential information, including tank specifications and details of the Han Kuang military exercises.
One of the men allegedly traveled to China in 2024 and met with Chinese intelligence officials, where prosecutors say he sought to recruit others to collect military information.
The three men face charges under Taiwan's national security and classified information laws, as well as the Criminal Code of the Armed Forces.
