Kaohsiung Family Park Draws Majority of Visitors from Outside City

The recently opened Kaohsiung Family Park drew visitors from across Taiwan
during the Mid-Autumn Fesitval and Teachers' Day long weekend ...

... with more than half coming from outside the city.

Figures show the park recorded around 80-thousand visits over the four-day
holiday ... with visitors from outside Kaohsiung accounting for about 55
percent.

New Taipei and Tainan each accounted for 11 percent of visitors ... followed
by Taoyuan at 7.5 percent and Taipei at more than 7 percent.

Kaohsiung officials say they plan to strengthen crowd management, facility
inspections and maintenance during busy periods as visitor numbers grow.
