South Korea Demands Apology From Ukraine Over North Korean Prisoners

South Korea is demanding an apology from Ukraine after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed the transfer of two North Korean prisoners of war to South Korea.
Zelenskyy announced the transfer during a U-N speech last week.
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung accused Ukraine of violating a nondisclosure agreement, but Kyiv denies the claim.
The two North Korean soldiers were captured on a battlefield in Ukraine in early 2025.
South Korea had asked Ukraine not to return them to North Korea, citing concerns they could face persecution.
Seoul says it strongly regrets Ukraine's actions, further straining relations between the two countries.
