Post Offices to Close During Four-Day Holiday

Chunghwa Post says most post offices across Taiwan will be closed during the
upcoming four-day Mid-Autumn Festival and Teachers' Day holiday from
September 25th to 28th.

The only regular post office counter open to the public will be the National
Palace Museum Post Office in Taipei ... offering foreign currency exchange
and sales of stamps and other postal products.

Regular mail and parcels will not be collected or delivered during the
holiday.

However, express mail deliveries will continue as usual ... with designated
postal facilities accepting domestic and international express mail.

Some international express shipments requiring electronic customs information
will have to be mailed on regular business days.

Self-service facilities, including iPost boxes, ATMs and self-service post
offices, will remain available throughout the holiday.
