Airport MRT Adds Services for Taiwan Design Expo

The Taoyuan Airport MRT will add extra services to handle an expected
increase in passengers during the Taiwan Design Expo ... which runs from
September 24th to October 11th.

The Taoyuan Metro Corporation says eight additional trains per hour in total
will operate in both directions between stations A12 Airport Terminal 1 and
A21 Huanbei during peak periods.

The extra services will run from 4 to 8 PM Monday through Thursday ... and
from 11 AM to 10 PM Friday through Sunday and on the upcoming public
holidays.

Passengers using the additional trains who are traveling towards Taipei ...
or to A22 Laojie River Station ... will need to transfer to a regular
service.

Visitors can take the Airport MRT directly to the expo's main exhibition area
in Qingpu ... while those heading to the Zhongli exhibition area can transfer
to a shuttle bus at Huanbei Station.
