New Award Honors Michael Boyden's Community Service

The British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei has established a new community
service award in memory of longtime Taiwan resident Michael Boyden.

His wife, Katy Boyden, accepted the inaugural award on his behalf during the
chamber's 10th Better Business Awards.

She says her late husband's willingness to help others made him the
equivalent of a li-chang (里長), or ward chief, for the international
community.

Moving forward the award will continue to recognize others who contribute to
Taiwan's local and international communities.
