Cooler Mornings and Evenings Before Chance of Rain Increases

With winds coming from the north, today's lowest temperature islandwide, at
17.5 degrees Celsius, occurred in Hsin-chu Guan-xi.

In Taipei, the temperature also dropped to 19.2 early this morning.

The Central Weather Administration says we can such low temps again tomorrow
and Thursday morning.

The CWA says as the seasonal northeasterly winds strengthen tomorrow,
there'll be more rain in the north and east as well, while weather should
remain nice and warm elsewhere.

More moisture is expected from Friday, bringing a greater chance of showers
and cooler air to the island.

But that'll last just one day. Forecasters say the seasonal northeastern
winds should weaken over the weekend, leaving western half of the island
mostly sunny.
