Congo's Ebola outbreak has yet to peak: Africa CDC

Authorities in Africa say the Ebola outbreak in Congo hasn't peaked yet and could be three times the current known size.
According to Prof. Yap Boum, head of emergency preparedness and response at the Africa CDC, less than 10% of cases are currently coming from known contacts.
This is far below the 90-95% rate when the outbreak can be said to be under control.
At this stage, the outbreak has recorded 10 times more cases than history's largest, which was the 2014-2016 outbreak across West Africa.
