Taoyuan releases Citizens Sports Games theme song

As the countdown to this year’s Citizens Sports Games kicks off… the Taoyuan
City government today released the official theme cheer song ahead of the
event in October.

The song "挑戰巔峰," which translates to "Challenge the Peak," is performed by
singer-songwriter GBOYSWAG and Rakuten Monkeys cheer captain Lan Lan (籃籃).

Its music video also brings together cheerleaders from four Taoyuan
professional sports teams for the first time, including the Rakuten Girls,
Pilots Crew, Peach Girls and Leopard Girls.

The city government says the song highlights athletes' determination to
overcome challenges and push beyond their limits.

The 2026 Citizens Sports Games in Taoyuan will run from October 17th through
the 22nd at 43 venues.

The event will feature 32 sports and is expected to attract more than
13-thousand athletes, team officials and spectators.
