NHIA Warns of Fraud Tactics Through LINE

The National Health Insurance Administration is warning the public against
false LINE messages claiming card suspensions.

Officials say the fraudulent messages urge users to click on phishing links,
which can compromise passwords, leak personal data, or install malware on
mobile devices.

The agency emphasizes that its legitimate L-I-N-E account features a verified
blue badge... and never sends unsolicited friend requests or demands
immediate action through messaging links.

And officials say citizens can verify or report suspicious communications
through the National Health Insurance toll-free hotline, or the 165
anti-fraud network.
