Hon Hai Precision Industry says it will continue ramping up investment in artificial intelligence production in 2026, with capital spending expected to grow by more than 30 percent.
The Foxconn parent company says spending will focus on AI servers, next-generation AI racks and liquid-cooling equipment, as well as manufacturing and research facilities in Taiwan, the United States, Mexico and Vietnam.
Hon Hai expects its AI rack shipments to more than double this year from 2025, with the next generation entering mass production in the third quarter.
The company currently holds more than 40 percent of the global AI server market and says it aims to increase that share to 50 percent.
Hon Hai says it will also expand production and research facilities in several U.S. states to meet growing demand from American customers.
