THSR launches SEMICON Taiwan-themed trains ahead of September expo

Taiwan High Speed Rail has unveiled a SEMICON Taiwan-themed train and new
headrest covers across its entire fleet ahead of this year's SEMICON Taiwan
exhibition.

The special train and headrest designs will remain in service through the end
of the September 2nd to 4th exhibition as part of a partnership with industry
association SEMI to showcase Taiwan's semiconductor industry.

T-H-S-R is also expanding services for the event.

Registration counters for attendees will open at Hsinchu Station on August
24th, with additional counters at Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan and Zuoying
stations beginning August 31st.

To meet higher demand, THSR will add non-reserved seating on 32 trains
between August 31st and September 4th, with some services offering up to nine
non-reserved cars.
