The Tai-Ex opened down 123-points this morning from yesterday's close, at
44,487 on turnover of 14.2-billion N-T.

The market moved back to the 44,000-point mark on Wednesday, as it recovered
both its monthly and quarterly moving averages amid solid gains in the tech
sector.
