China has announced a new round of economic measures against the United States, including export controls on drones and a ban on trade with six American entities.
Beijing says the measures are a response to recent U-S restrictions, including a ban on imports of Chinese drones and sanctions on Chinese companies under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.
China's Commerce Ministry is urging Washington to reverse those measures and has warned it will take further action if additional restrictions are imposed.
The latest moves come as tensions between the world's two largest economies continue ahead of a possible visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to the United States in September.
