MRT track inspections following earthquake

Meanwhile,

The Taipei Metro Corporation says no abnormalities were found after track
inspections.

M-R-T trains ran at reduced speeds after the quake and the corporation says
along with carrying out track inspsections it also ran equipment checks
according to standard operating procedures ...

.. and stations also increased announcements and public awareness campaigns.

The Taoyuan Metro Corporation says services on the Airport M-R-T line were
affected for 34 minutes following the earthquake.

It says it activated standard operating procedures were immediately and after
the shaking stopped, all trains on the line underwent slow-speed inspections.
