Pingtung Stargazing Tourism this Summer

Pingtung County is promoting night tourism with a year-round "Stargazing in
pingtung" compaign.

The next event, " Venus and Leo: A Night Under the Stars, " will take place
this Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Haikou (海口) Beach in Checheng (車城)
Township.

Visitors can enjoy guided stargazing, astronomy activities, and night-sky
photography while viewing Venus in the evening sky.

The county hopes to attract more visitors by combing astronomy with local
attractions and to promote dark-sky conversation through unique nighttime
travel experiences.
