Meanwhile, transportation services across Taiwan have been gradually returning to normal in the wake of the storm.
Taiwan Railway says services on its western and eastern trunk lines, the South Link Line and the Neiwan Branch Line have all resumed.
Taiwan High Speed Rail is also back to its normal schedule after reducing services on Saturday as a precaution.
At Taoyuan International Airport, most flights and ground transportation services resumed on Sunday, although more than 120 flights were canceled after aircraft were unable to return from overseas because of the storm.
Ferry services were the hardest hit, with more than 100 sailings on 14 routes canceled due to the storm.
Meanwhile, the Danjiang Bridge in New Taipei has reopened following safety inspections and the clearing of debris.
And in central Taiwan, the Alishan Forest Railway remains closed today while crews clear landslides and inspect the tracks.
