Denmark Rejects Trump's Greenland Demand

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has rejected renewed calls by U-S
President Donald Trump for the United States to take control of Greenland.

Frederiksen says Denmark is ready to defend every inch of NATO territory,
including Greenland, and expects its allies to honor their mutual defense
commitments.

Trump's statement came during the NATO summit in Turkey, which was meant to
show unity ... where he said the United States should control the
semi-autonomous Arctic island.

NATO leaders are also addressing defense spending and Trump’s grievances
about burden-sharing.
