China Airlines has announced a flexible ticket change policy as Typhoon Bavi approaches Taiwan.
Passengers holding China Airlines or Mandarin Airlines tickets for travel between July 9 and July 11 can change their bookings free of charge if they rebook by July 31.
The airline said the waiver covers one ticket change, although passengers must still pay any fare or tax differences.
Refund requests, however, remain subject to the original ticket's refund rules.
China Airlines said it will continue updating flight schedules based on the evaluation of the typhoon's path and advised travelers to check the latest flight information through its website or app.
