NATO leaders are showcasing billions of dollars' worth of military projects as they seek to demonstrate to U-S President Donald Trump that allies are increasing defense spending.
Trump is currently en route to Ankara for the NATO summit, having signalled he's bringing a "gift" for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan widely understood to relate to lifting the ban on F-35 fighter jet sales to Turkey.
The two-day gathering has opened with what is being described as the alliance's most comprehensive defence industry forum to date.
