Taiwan to open representative office in Phoenix: MOFA
Posted on 2026-07-03 20:09:23
Taiwan will open a representative office in Phoenix, Arizona, to strengthen cooperation with the United States in trade, technology, education and supply chains.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Phoenix has become an increasingly important technology hub as Taiwanese semiconductor investment in the city continues to grow.
The expansion has been driven in part by tsmc, whose Arizona operations have attracted more Taiwanese suppliers to the area.
The ministry has not said when the new office will open.
Once established, it will become Taiwan's 14th representative office in the United States.
