South Korea's government has rejected a U-S congressional report accusing it of discriminating against e-commerce company Coupang.
The report by the U-S House Judiciary Committee followed a record 403 million U-S dollar fine imposed on the U-S-listed company in June over a major data breach affecting millions of customers.
South Korea's Foreign Ministry says the report reflects only Coupang's claims and does not include the government's position.
The ministry says the investigation and penalties were carried out in accordance with South Korean law and denies that Coupang was subjected to unfair or discriminatory treatment.
