Control Yuan Investigates Suspended Minister

The Control Yuan has launched an investigation into suspended Cabinet
minister Yang Jen-ni (楊珍妮) over allegations of workplace bullying.

The watchdog agency opened its inquiry after the Executive Yuan completed its
own three-month investigation, which led to Yang's suspension today.

The Executive Yuan says its investigation included 31 interviews and that its
findings can withstand public scrutiny.

Yang has denied any wrongdoing, saying the report relied on one-sided
testimony and failed to provide due process.

She has also indicated she may take legal action against those she says were
responsible for the premature release of information about the case.
