Cabinet Minister Without Portfolio Jenny Yang has issued another statement after being suspended over findings that she committed workplace bullying.
She said she's not ruling out taking legal actions against those that she described as making "fabricated allegations" about her behavior.
The former top negotiator said a supervisor's decision not to adopt suggestions from colleagues should not, by itself, be considered bullying.
The Cabinet last week released the findings of an external investigation, concluding that Yang had bullied her deputy Yan Hui-xin (顏慧欣), who died earlier this year.
Premier Cho Jung-tai has since decided to suspend Yang from her duties beginning July 1st.
In last night's statement, Yang again argued that the investigation relied on one-sided accounts and denied her a fair opportunity to respond to the allegations.
She also claimed the probe was driven by individuals with ulterior motives who leaked information to the media in an effort to shape public opinion.
Meanwhile Cabinet spokesperson Michelle Lee said Vice Premier Zheng Li-jun will continue to lead the Taiwan-U.S. Trade and Economic Working Group for future negotiations.
