Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung has wrapped-up a trip to Poland and Italy.
Lin was heading a trade delegation to the two countries aimed at strengthening Taiwan's partnerships with both Warsaw to Rome.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the six-day trip began with Lin leading a delegation of business representatives to the 2026 Taiwan Expo Europe in Poland, before visiting the Polish Parliament.
Lin also announced the establishment of Taiwan Language Centers in Europe.
The first centers will be set up in the Czech Republic, France, Germany, and Poland and Lin says that will serve as hubs for Mandarin-language education and talent exchanges.
Lin's trip to Italy included attending a business forum, as well as an event organized by the Regional Council of Lombardy on strengthening supply chain resilience and Taiwan-Italy exchanges.
The event focused on semiconductors, I-C-T, and advanced manufacturing.
The foreign ministry says it was the largest business delegation from Taiwan to attend an industry event organized by the Regional Council of Lombardy.
