Taiwan pavilion returns to Seoul International Book Fair

A Taiwan Creative Content Agency-organized pavilion will return to the Seoul
International Book Fair later this month, featuring 160 titles from 55
publishers.

Organizers say the event aims to build on the strong sales and publishing
rights deals generated when Taiwan served as the fair's guest of honor last
year.

TAICCA Chairperson Sue Wang says Taiwan's publishing industry is receiving
growing international recognition, pointing to the recent International
Booker Prize win for Taiwan Travelogue.

A number of Taiwanese authors will take part in events during the fair,
including Li Ang, Hu Mu-ching, Liglav A-wu and Lai Ma.

The Taipei Book Fair Foundation will also operate a separate pavilion focused
on cultural exchanges between Taiwan and South Korea.

The Seoul International Book Fair runs from June 24 through June 28.
