Chunghwa Post Issues Train Stamp Series

Chunghwa Post is releasing its second series of Taiwan Railway stamps later
this week, featuring hand-drawn designs of six famous sightseeing and
historical trains.

The set of six stamps will go on sale June 5, with each stamp carrying a face
value of $8 NT.

The new series includes the “Mountain Mist Express”, which boasts green
velvet seats, floor-to-ceiling windows and unique lighting systems, as well
as the nostalgic "Breezy Blue", offering coastal views on the island's oldest
operating train

To accompany the release, Chunghwa Post will begin selling related
collectibles on June 3rd, including first-day covers, stamp cards, and
postcards.

The collection follows a popular first series released last year and
celebrates the island's unique rail culture.
