Lu Chun-hsiung of the Taoyuan Pauian Pilots has been named the most valuable
player in the P. League (Plus League).

He thus becomes the first player to receive this distinction for three years
in a row.

He averaged 18.5 points per game this season, ranking third in the league and
the highest amongst domestic players.

Lu also became the first player in Plus League history to record more than
2000 points in the regular season.

Lu's teammate, American Alec Brown, won the best foreign player award.

Brown was also named both star blocker and defensive player of the year.

Other players making the league's First Team include the Pilots' Lee
Chia-kang, the Fubon Braves' Mouhamed Mbaye, and the TSG GhostHawks' Ku Mao
Wei-chia.

The Braves defeated the GhostHawks in the semifinals of the league's
playoffs, and will thus head to face the Pilots for the first game of the
league trophy on June 5th.
