Hungary & Ukraine to Start Talks over Rights of Ethnic Minority

Hungary and Ukraine are planning to start high-level consultations on the rights of Ukraine's ethnic Hungarian minority.
The move signals a potential improvement in relations between the two countries which have been strained under former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
Orbán's government had blocked EU funding for Ukraine and held up sanctions against Moscow.
Hungary's new foreign minister, Anita Orbán, announced on Monday that the bilateral talks could begin this week.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha expressed readiness to open a new chapter in relations after Viktor Orbán's government was defeated in an election in April.
