Taipei Orders Two Airelee Clinics to Shut Down for Six Months

In a related development, authorities have ordered two branches of Airelee
Clinic to suspend operations for six months ... also over allegations
involving hidden cameras.

City officials say the Da-an and Nanjing branches seriously violated patient
privacy rights after investigators confirmed evidence of concealed recording
devices through seized footage.

Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an says the clinics were also fined a combined
1-point-25 million NT.

Health authorities say one branch received additional penalties for improper
fee practices, including unauthorized charges.

The Taipei City Government says inspections targeting cosmetic clinics, gyms,
and saunas will continue as part of a broader crackdown on illegal hidden
cameras and privacy violations.
