Traffic resumed on Number 9 provincial road

The Highway Bureau says traffic has been restored to the number 9 Provincial
road, also known as the Su-hua Highway.

The section between Ho-ren (和仁) and Chong-de (崇德) was shut down as a
precaution from 12:15 PM to 2 PM today due to torrential rain-triggered
mudslides.

The closure means some 40 vehicles got stuck within that section.

Highway officials say the road is currently open in both directions, but it
could close again depending on weather conditions.
