Hsieh Yi Fong vows not to give up in Changhua magistrate race

KMT lawmaker Hshieh Yi Fong (謝衣鳳) says, she's not giving up on running for
Changhua magistrate...

even as her party has already nominated Wei Ping-zheng to run for the
position.

Hsieh says today that she has been preparing to run and has not given up .

She also went so far as to call Wei "unable to be elected", saying that if
the KMT loses in November, the party higher-ups and Changhua party officials
should be held accountable.

Hsieh also criticized the KMT for skipping the primary process and directly
picking Wei, saying the decision was opaque and unfair as compared to the
DPP's process for picking lawmaker Chen Su Yue (陳素月) to run.

Hsieh has struggled to gain approval from her family for the magistrate's
campaign.
