Scholarships for Indigenous students now taking applications

The Ministry of Education says, the talent excellence scholarship for
Indigenous students is now taking applications.

The program is open to Indigenous students in primary and secondary school,
and offers up to 10,000 NT.

Applications are open through Friday, and students can apply through the
school they're enroled at for the current semester.

The ministry says, the scholarship is meant to recognize the outstanding
academic and extracurricular achievement of Indigenous students.

The individual and group versions of the award regonize language, science,
music, art, dance, sports and other special talents.

The Ministry of Educaiton says, it will continue to promote the cultivation
of talent among Indigenous young people.

Applications are due this Friday.
