Starlux Airlines relaxes uniform rules for cabin crew

Starlux Airlines has updated its cabin crew uniform policy, allowing male
flight attendants to wear short-sleeved shirts and permitting crew members
with eye discomfort to wear glasses on duty.

The short-sleeve option for male cabin crew took effect in April.

Starlux says the changes are aimed at helping crew members balance
professional appearance with personal comfort.

The airline also previously opened up flat shoes and trouser uniforms as
options for female cabin crew.

On the glasses policy, Starlux joins China Airlines, Tigerair Taiwan, and EVA
Air, which had already allowed crew to wear glasses during flights.

Starlux says the uniform adjustments are part of its ongoing efforts to
improve working conditions, and that further reviews are planned.
