Kaohsiung's Shoushan Zoo offers free entry for women and kids this Mother's

Kaohsiung's Shoushan Zoo is offering free admission for women and children
under 12 this weekend to mark Mother's Day.

The zoo is also running a joint activity with Neimen Wild Forest Animal
School starting Saturday, where visitors can complete tasks via the
"Kaohsiung GO!" app at designated locations to enter a prize draw.

A "World Cockroach Special Exhibition" is also now open in the zoo's Alpaca
Corridor through the end of August, featuring species from around the world
including an armored, wingless rhinoceros cockroach from Australia and a
metallic-sheened Vietnamese cockroach.

The zoo says recent new arrivals, including capybaras, miniature donkeys, and
swamp wallabies, have added to the family-friendly atmosphere.
