The Ministry of Labor says newly employed graduates earned an average monthly wage of 39-thousand NT in 2025, up 5-point-4 percent from the previous year.
The data covered 138-thousand graduates, with 73 percent holding a university degree and 21-point-5 percent holding a master's degree.
University graduates earned an average of 36-thousand NT a month, while postgraduate degree holders averaged 53-thousand NT.
About 17 percent of new graduates -- roughly 24-thousand people -- were paid the minimum wage of 28-thousand-590 NT.
The data also showed a gender pay gap of 9-point-2 percent, with female graduates earning an average of 38-thousand NT compared to 41-thousand NT for male graduates.
The ministry attributed the gap partly to male dominance in higher-paying science, technology, and engineering fields.
