Lebanon and Israel Set to Hold Talks

And finally,

Lebanon and Israel are set to begin a second session of direct talks in
Washington ... with ambassadors from both sides meeting for the second time
in a week.

The discussions scheduled for later today are focused on extending a
ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah and planning future negotiations.

Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun says contacts are ongoing to extend the
10-day ceasefire that started Friday.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar urges Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah.

Despite Hezbollah's rejection, the talks mark a significant step.

The two countries have no diplomatic relations and officially have been at
war since 1948.
