Former TPP lawmaker Li Chen-hsiu has applied to the court for an injunction to temporarily maintain her party membership.
She was expelled from the TPP and lost her at-large legislative seat last week.
She filed the application with the Taipei District Court last Friday, naming the TPP as the respondent, and the case is currently under review.
Li has been embroiled in controversy over her nationality and legislative eligibility.
The TPP's Central Evaluation Committee revoked her party membership after she publicly allegedly that Hsin-chu Mayor Gao Hung-an had taken 7 million NT from then-TPP chairman Ko Wen-je.
In response, TPP chair Huang Guo-chang said today that he's "not worried about Li's action at all, " saying that he'll leave the whole thing to the judicial system.
